Top Things to Know About Opening Day
- Thank You! - Each of you make Los Alamos County Little League the success it is today! From parents and players, to team moms and scorekeepers, to the dads who shag fly balls and help strap on the catcher’s gear – YOU ARE LACLL!
For all that you do, we want to say THANK YOU! We are so grateful for your help and support of the boys and girls of this
incredible league!
- Participation - The Opening Day Celebration is for EVERYONE. All players and families should plan to participate. Best of all, this will be an exciting event for players, parents, and families!
- Uniforms - Players should be dressed in your FULL UNIFORM for our Opening Day Celebration!
- Parking - Please use caution and drive slow as there will be a high volume of foot traffic.
- Activities – All of the teams will be announced onto the field, a local dignitary will throw out the First Pitch as well as get our season underway with "Play Ball."
- Help Needed - We will need some additional assistance to make the event a success. Please check your email and the website for updates on how you can help.
- Weather Plan -We are hoping for wonderful weather for our celebration! But in true New Mexico fashion please bring layers.
- Sponsors - We love our sponsors -take a moment to read all the signs naming these incredible businesses as they do so much to help and support the boys and girls of our league.
